Karobar — Billing, stock & udhaar for your shop.

Apni dukaan ka poora hisaab kitaab — ek app mein. A shop app built by TECHROOF.IT for Pakistani shops — bills, stock, udhaar, WhatsApp bills and an online shop, in Urdu and English, on phone or PC.

What is Karobar

Karobar started from a simple observation: most shops in Pakistan already run on a system — a register, a calculator, a pile of chits, and the owner’s memory. It works until the day it does not: a page goes missing, a customer disputes their udhaar, or the shop runs out of its best seller on a Saturday. Karobar keeps that same way of working, and puts it on a phone.

Every bill does the bookkeeping by itself. A sale lowers the stock and, if the customer has not paid in full, adds the rest to their khata. A purchase raises the stock and records what the shop owes the supplier. A return reverses both. By evening, the owner can see the day’s sale, profit, cash received, udhaar given, and what needs reordering — without adding a single column by hand.

It is designed for the counter, not the accountant’s office: big buttons, short words, Urdu when you want it, JazzCash and Easypaisa built in, bills sent on the shop’s own WhatsApp, and a mode that keeps working when the internet drops — which, for many shops, is most afternoons.

Most shops still run on a register and memory

  • Kacha hisaab in a register: Sales are written in a copy and totalled at night. One missed line and the day’s hisaab never matches the cash drawer.
  • Udhaar nobody can trace: Credit given at the counter lives in memory or on loose chits. Customers dispute balances, and recovery becomes guesswork.
  • Stock you cannot trust: Maal finishes before anyone notices, or dead stock sits for months. Without a live count, reordering is a guess.
  • The internet drops mid-bill: Most online billing tools stop when the signal goes. At a busy counter, a frozen screen means a lost sale or a bill made twice.

Core features

  • Sale bills & POS (Bill banayein): Search a product or scan its barcode, change quantity or rate, give a discount on an item or the whole bill, and save. Payment by cash, card, JazzCash, Easypaisa, bank, cheque, or udhaar — or part now, part later.
  • Purchases & suppliers (Khareed ka record): Record each purchase bill from a supplier. Stock goes up, the cost price can update itself, and the amount still owed to that supplier is always current.
  • Sale & purchase returns (Maal wapsi): Take back part of a bill with a numbered return note. Stock is restored, the refund is linked to the return, and returns show separately in the daily reports.
  • Inventory & stock (Maal ka hisaab): Products with category, brand, model, barcode, unit, colour, size, rack number, warranty, expiry, and even the vehicles a part fits. Several pictures each, low-stock alerts, stock counts, and a full history of every movement.
  • Udhaar khata & ledgers (Udhaar khata): A ledger for every customer and supplier with each bill, payment and running balance, plus a day book showing all money in and out for any date.
  • Free WhatsApp bills (WhatsApp pe bill): Send the bill as text, a picture, or a PDF from the shop’s own WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business — no paid API. The customer also gets a private link to view and print the bill. SMS and Gmail work too.
  • Slip, A4 or letterhead (Apni marzi se print): 58 mm and 80 mm thermal slips (direct to a USB receipt printer on PC), A4 invoices with the shop’s logo, or A4 on pre-printed letterhead with margins set in millimetres. Amount in words, terms and signature included.
  • Online shop & orders (Online dukaan): Each shop gets its own web page with four designs and eight colours. Customers browse, add to cart and order for delivery or pickup; the shop turns an order into a bill in one tap.
  • Works without internet (Internet ke baghair bhi): Bills and stock counts made offline are saved on the device and synced when the connection returns. A bill is never saved twice, even if the button is pressed twice.
  • Reports & dashboard (Munafa aur nuqsan): Daily to yearly sales, profit, top products, recent bills, money to receive and to pay, and low stock — with export to PDF and Excel for the accountant.
  • Android app (Mobile app): A real Android app with push notifications, the phone’s back button, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi printing, light and dark mode, and exports saved to Downloads/Karobar.
  • Private & backed up (Data mehfooz): Each shop sees only its own data. Secure login by mobile or email, an activity log, nightly server backups, and a shop backup download as an Excel workbook when it is allowed for the shop.

Sale & purchase bills — bechna aur khareedna, dono ka bill

  • Bill numbers run in order for every shop — S-000001, S-000002 — for sales and purchases
  • Item and bill discount, with tax applied after the discount when you need it
  • Seven ways to be paid: cash, card, JazzCash, Easypaisa, bank, cheque, or udhaar
  • Partial payment now, the rest added to the same bill later
  • Cancel a bill with a reason — stock comes back and the bill stays on record
  • Return notes for sale and purchase returns, with refunds linked to each one
  • Search bills by date, customer, or status: paid, partly paid, unpaid, cancelled
  • A record on every bill of when, to which number, and by whom it was sent

Reports & dashboard

  • Sales by period: Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly sales, with a date picker.
  • Profit: Real munafa after cost price, on the dashboard and in reports.
  • Low-stock list: Products running out, flagged before a customer asks for them.
  • Top products: Best sellers and recent bills, so buying follows real demand.
  • Receivable & payable: Total udhaar owed to the shop and dues owed to suppliers.
  • PDF & Excel export: Share any report with an accountant or partner in one click.

FAQ

What is Karobar? Karobar is shop management software by TECHROOF.IT for Pakistani shops. It handles sale and purchase bills, returns, stock, customer and supplier udhaar, WhatsApp bills, an online shop, and reports — in Urdu and English, on an Android phone or any computer.

Kya Karobar mein sale aur purchase dono bill ban sakte hain? Ji haan. Customer ke liye sale bill aur supplier se khareed ke liye purchase bill — dono bante hain, aur har bill ke saath stock aur khata khud update ho jata hai. Maal wapsi (return) ka note bhi ban jata hai.

Is sending bills on WhatsApp really free? Yes. The bill goes from the shop’s own WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business as text, a picture, or a PDF. There is no paid WhatsApp API or monthly message package.

Internet band ho jaye to kya hoga? Karobar chalta rehta hai. Offline banaye gaye bill phone ya computer mein save ho jate hain aur internet wapas aate hi khud bhej diye jate hain. Ek bill kabhi do baar save nahi hota.

Is there a Karobar Android app? Yes. Download the Karobar APK (v1.0.8) from this page, open the file on your phone, allow "Install unknown apps" when asked, and install. Karobar also runs in any browser on a PC or laptop.

Can I print on a thermal printer or my own letterhead? Yes. Karobar prints 58 mm and 80 mm receipt slips (directly to a USB receipt printer on a computer), A4 invoices with your logo, or A4 on pre-printed letterhead with the top and bottom margins set in millimetres.

Does Karobar work in Urdu? Yes. Switch between Urdu and English with one tap; Urdu screens read right to left properly.

Can my customers order online? Yes. When the online shop is switched on for your shop, it gets its own web page where customers add products to a cart and order for delivery or pickup. You see each order on the Orders page and turn it into a bill in one tap.

Is my shop’s data safe? Each shop sees only its own records. Login is by mobile number or email, important actions are logged, the server is backed up every night, and a full shop backup can be downloaded as an Excel workbook when it is allowed for your shop.

How can I try Karobar? Open karobar.techroof.it.com and tap "Explore the demo" on the login page — a sample grocery shop opens with no sign-up. New shops start with a 14-day free trial, then choose Basic, Standard or Premium, monthly, quarterly or yearly.
